Bathroom hair

Good morning Community

I have refund several guest because they complained about hair in the shower, the toilet and the bathroom floor.  My five star rating and reviews has declining dramatically and I have made ever effort to address the issue.  Can someone give me some advice on ensuring hair is removing from the shower, toilet and floor?  I have tried everything but I still getting complaints.   Any advice , tips, techniques and instruments I can use is greatly appreciated it

Hi @Detrick-Shundelle0

Hair getting trapped in the shower drain is really common. What I always advise my cleaner is to use a floor brush when cleaning the bathroom so they can easily gather and remove all the hair before it washes down the drain. You can also place a simple drain catcher or mesh filter to prevent buildup  it’s cheap, effective, and saves you from potential clogging issues.

Ensuring Hair from Washroom can be done by Cleaner Or Self ( If doing cleaning your self )  Add this in the Check List to check after cleaning.    But this is a issue which needs some good solution.

Hi @Patricia2526 😊

Thank you so much for helping our host.

Were you struggling with this at the beginning as well, or were you already using these solutions?

@Detrick-Shundelle0

1. vacuum before you wash floors-checking head is cleaned of hairs before, during and after

2. schedule regular shower drain clearing maintenance- long hair clogs drains easily.

3. hair in and around toilet. should be removed easily unless your cleaning cloths are cross contaminating (use one to wash, another to wipe clean)

I deal with both pet and non pet stays so hair is something I focus on removing. I have a good pet vacuum cleaner with HEPA filters. Check your equipment.
