Dining tables?!

Hi everyone, I’ve a small 2BR town house that sleeps 5. There is a small kitchenette with 2 seater bistro set. My question is should I put a small dining table that seats 5 in the sitting room??? The small foldaway type with stools?

Against: it is a busy sitting room with access to outdoors, stairs, and kitchen, and has tv, coffee table, fireplace and two sofas. Foldaway table would be inbetween Tv and wall, or blocking radiator under window, then pulled out to middle of room when in use, lowering walking space and general comfort. There are restaurants nearby where families can eat out.

For:, I think family bookings will want a table to feed kids or sit around together at mealtimes? I want to encourage longer stays especially during the summer.

Furniture movement can cause it's own set of issues.

I suggest for the winter months. just go on Amazon, they have nice but affordable wooden tv trays with a nice holder that doesn't need a lot of space.  Since your hoping for longer stays warmer weather invest instead a nice patio dining table for 5.  Some plants to beautify patio it has a roof will make a nice choice in or out.

Thanks so much for reply!!!

I have some large tropical plants just need to transport them over… I hadn’t thought of patio being an alternative to dining table indoors tho!

we don’t get great summers but I’ll pop out some blankets and cushions and it will give people the option!

thank you!

If not too cold Arizona we find 68 degrees cold. lol  They use nice patio heaters easy to turn on and most here use a propane tank.  Even with your large patio you only need maybe 2 to hear up a table area for 5.  They make them very decorative.
