EV Charging

EV Charging

Hey, I have a guest who is charging his EV via my Airbnb and not the EV charging point on the holiday park. do i confront the situation now and risk a  bad review or wait until the guest has checked out? any other thoughts appreciated.

@John9429 It depends on several things. Is the amount of electricity used high relative to the nightly rate? Do your rules prohibit charging TVs?

If the answer to both is yes then say nothing,  wait till the guest leaves, review them immediately and hope they review you within the 14 day claim period.

If either answer is no then live with just giving an honest review.

Your listing is on a holiday park. There is  nothing mentioned in the listing about park-rules.

The EV charging facility is also no mentioned.

I suggest to add it to the listing.

Charging an EV at the accommodation without asking and paying for it is ofcourse not OK.

How did you found out the guest is charging the vehicle ?

Thanks. Another park owner posted it on the parks facebook page.

I would just post a polite note to the guest asking them to use the EV charging point at the holiday park @John9429
