Errors with Check-in Method short code and smart lock
Hello. Since linking my smart lock to my listing and designation it as the check-in method, the short code [check-in method] is throwing an error. It says my scheduled email will not be sent. The error message says that I don't have a check-in method selected. I have smart lock selected. I have all fields filled out. The batteries are new.
I've been going around and around with this for hours and days with customer support to no avail.
Anyone else having this issue? Is there anyway I can get someone on the software QA team to have a look at this?

Was told that someone will look at it and gave me a case numberA15503874. The short code function is still broken. It's been at least 2 months since the smart lock feature was launched. This is really annoying.
I have the same issue with my "Schlage Encode Plus Smart WiFi Deadbolt".
In my case, AIRBNB is connected to the smart lock and it is installing the right codes on the Schlage Home App.
But the weird thing is that as far I can tell, the guest is getting that code even when I can see clearly on the Airbnb chat messages that the SCHEDULE MESSAGE will not be sent due to the {Check-in method} error.
Airbnb hasn't resolved my issue and I'm still waiting.
I’m having the same issue after connecting my lock just now. So frustrating. Are you saying that the message does indeed get sent even though it’s throwing an error saying that it cannot be sent?
