Welcome @Dona-Ilidia0,
Your start and progress is great.
I do agree that your listing need few important updates:
- New photos, and above shooting advices and other I would reccommend to add up to 20 max in total.
- Descriptions, all. Provide information, equipments etc, but start with your advantages like location, view, atmosfere or comfort you provide. Avoid restrictions if they are linked inside listing profile.
-Most important your profile should be fullfill with ALL infos.
If able, it would be nice to add some colorful decor details, it could be only bowl and cushions, table runners or drawings.
Wish you all luck. Nora
Buongiorno @Dona-Ilidia0 ,
I took a quick look at your listing and it seems to me that you could improve your photos, here are some tips on how to best photograph your home:
hope it helps
Andrea
@Dona-Ilidia0 I agree with better picture quality and I think while white is nice and clean maybe color bedspread. My Airbnb is themed and our guests love that it is, so maybe pick a theme to decorate make more inviting. I hope this helps or check out my listing to get idea's. airbnb.com/h/gunsmokecabinrentals
@Barbara3765 , thanks so much for chiming in! I just had a quick look at your pictures and they are so amazing 🎉 Did you get them clicked by a professional photographer or by yourself through a phone or camera ? These insights might also help host @Dona-Ilidia0. Thanks in advance for sharing!
@Dona-Ilidia0 Your place looks lovely! You could try alternative photos but another things that might be nice is to feature local amenities and place to visit. Do you have a 'look" book? if not, think about that. place close by to eat, entertainment, transportation...etc. Many people already know what they are coming for, but perhaps there are some who just need a little extra information about how fun it would be to stay at your place? just a thought.
Thanks for the tips @Brian3620 ! Having travel guidebooks can be so helpful for guests. Have you added similar guidebooks for your listing or in your Airbnb profile to help guests with local recommendations?
Hello, your reviews are all good and guests are happy with the place; maybe you could reach out to a past guest to ask what else would make the place ‘better’ or more comfortable.
sorry but your photos are not good - I would have professional photos OR get a friend to help you.
You place looks very very clean and minimalist - suggest you ‘soften’ the rooms with a couple of prints on the walls, colourful cushions on bed, maybe a rug on the floor. Images of a television is not going to attract guests.
have a look at other listings in the area - what pictures are they using of local area as points of interest? Good luck!! 👌
Hi @Anna17671 , that's a great idea to ask past guests for feedback! Do you often request similar feedback from your guest? I'd love to hear if you've made any changes to your listing based on your guest's suggestions!
@Dona-Ilidia0 Lovely place! I'd echo the recommendation from other hosts about professional photos. I'd also recommend adding more decor & color: plants (artificial or real), rugs, throw pillows, etc. Check out our listing for some ideas: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1008979002063504053
Hi @Andrea8879 , while we wait for @Dona-Ilidia0 to view your tips, I took a look at your listing photos and they look fantastic 📸
Have you decorated the interior of your listing yourself (in terms of decoration items and placing things and furniture)? It looks so neat!
Hi @Dona-Ilidia0 . Congratulations on the eight five star reviews so far!
I think you could add a few easy and small touches to your place to make it look more cosy and inviting. The white sheets in the bedroom seem clean but since you have white curtains, white walls and a white floor it comes off as a bit cold or clinical in the photos. You could add some coloured cushions or a coloured throw, or maybe some bigger artwork on the walls. And/or change the colour of the curtains.
In the bathroom you could add a toothbrush holder and a soap dispenser for a bit of decoration while still being practical. If you don’t provide hand soap then you could have a soap dish where a guest can put soap on.
I’d keep just the most important photos and not repeat them. Only 1 photo of the tv is enough… there are 8… there’s a photo of the red cleaning stick in the bathroom… best to delete that? Perhaps you could add a photo of the outside area or places to visit nearby. A simple vase with fake flowers somewhere can help add colour. Or a fake tree in the living room (low maintenance).
hope it helped 🙂 all
the best
Hi @Andrea8879 , these thoughtful touches can be so important for guest comfort 💯 Have you found any little decor hacks or favourite shops in your area for affordable accessories or decor items?
I don’t know if it’s easily available in Brazil, but Zara home and H&M home have nice items for decoration!
Thanks for sharing @Andrea8879 ! Have you picked any interesting items for your Airbnb from there 😍 ?
Sou brasileiro mais moro na Florida, USA.
3.instant booking
Boa sorte!!!

Hi @Dona-Ilidia0
I'm Brazilian, but I live in Florida, USA.
1. Regarding the photos and the issue: Airbnb has a great program where they send a professional photographer to take some good photos.
2. In the description, don’t just list what’s available or what guests can or can’t do. For example, if you’re mentioning the stove, say that there is a stove, but also mention that you can cook a delicious feijoada on it.
3. Instant booking
Good luck!!!
