Good Morning

I am thinking of listing a brand new 10 room building it consists of 9 ensuite rooms sharing 2 kitchens and 1 self contained ensuite room 1 mile form Huddersfield Town centre university town, It was built for students however, student accommodation is somewhat saturated in Huddersfield.  Could I ask for opinions and potential room rate charges? and as to whether this would be viable as a business ?

1. To understand potential room rates you need to do your market research and check comparable local hostel type listings to see what they charge @Richard2944 

2. The only one who will know whether it's likely to be a viable business is yourself by putting together a profit and loss budget with all your set up and one off costs and projected income

How do you know the STR market is not over-saturated?

How are you planning to manage cleaning of communal areas?

@Richard2944 you could consider students for term time+ small holidays and Airbnb for the summer. This would give the students a cheaper 9 month let which they would probably appreciate.
