Hi everyone, my question is how to start from new? Like how the whole process goes? Planning to rent properties and sublease them but how does that work with the real estate companies or direct owners? Do we have to sign any paperwork or contracts in that way ? I hv no knowledge if I can get some information from you experienced people it would be great.
thanks
Hi @Kiran186
I guess the best thing to do is to contact your potential landlords first and ask if they allow subleasing their property for short-term rentals like Airbnb. Being upfront and honest about your plans from the beginning is always the best course of action. It helps avoid misunderstandings, possible lease violations, or issues later on once the business is already operating.
Hello if you want to do arbitrage then you'd probably be better joining arbitrage groups @Kiran186
This is a community to discuss Airbnb related issues .
In general if you want to arbitrage you would need to do your own market research to understand how to reach landlords willing to allow you to sublet for STR (in my country standard tenancy lease do not allow you to sublet for commercial use) .
And yes of course you will have to sign a lease or contract .
