Lock box
Hello,
Advice on which lock box is best would be greatly appreciated!!
I've heard the smart lock box is ultimately flexible. Is it reliable?
Is lower tech preferable? Thank you.

Hi Mari,
Smart lock boxes like the Igloohome Smart Keybox and the Master Lock Bluetooth Lock Box offer excellent flexibility. They allow you to create time-sensitive codes, manage access remotely, and track usage. These are ideal for hosts who manage properties from a distance or want to streamline guest access. While they are reliable, regular battery maintenance is essential to prevent lockouts.
For a simpler, lower-tech solution, options like the Master Lock 5400D or the Kidde AccessPoint KeySafe are sturdy and dependable. They don’t require batteries or apps and are easy to use, making them a cost-effective and hassle-free alternative.
The choice ultimately depends on your hosting needs. If you prioritize advanced features and remote management, go with a smart lock box. If simplicity and reliability are your focus, a traditional lock box is a great fit.
I hope this helps.
All the best,
Upfish Management

Hi @Mari47774
One reason why some people may not choose a smart lock box, is that there may not be a reliable Wi-Fi signal where the box is kept.
