Mould- Ventilation issue

Hi everyone!!
I have a concern, and I’m hoping you could give me some tips.
I have this guest at home since July, he has booked till the end of September.
Even if I have not included the washing machine in the amenities, I have decided to let him use it, considering the long stay.
The problem comes when he decided to dry his laundry in the room, without ventilating the room (which he never does anyway, as I can smell it from the stairs).
I tried to talked to him about the issue, and I volunteered to do his laundry, asking him to leave his dirty clothes with me ones per week so that I could look after it, but he didn’t accept, telling me that he doesn’t feel comfortable with me doing his laundry.
I entered the room only ones to change sheets and towels, and it was so messy, the floor was covered in clothes and it was super smelly… now I am leaving new sheets and towels by the door, I gave him cleaning products too, so that he can do everything by himself.
My only concern is that I start to smell humidity, which is quite worrying, I wouldn’t want any mould in the house. I’m literally living with all the rest of the windows opened all around the house so that I can prevent the issue, but still, in that room it rarely gets opened, whit the guest rarely living the house, I really don’t know what to do.
What if it happens? What if the mould is already there? What would you do??
Thank you for your support
Michela

I am a homeshare host.

Personally I would never let a guest dry his clothes in his room. They should be dried either outside /using a clothes horse/dryer (whatever you use to dry your clothes). @Michela523

I would tell your guests that they can do a wash on XX date each week and they can dry their clothes using your drying method in whichever room in your house that you do this.

This is a simple solution to ensuring the guest doesn't cause condensation/damp in his room.
