Multiple bedrooms

I have put my 6 bedroom house on the platform but want to highlight each room seperatly but cant work out how to do this.

@Phil3061 If you want to be able to rent out each room seperately, you need to create a seperate listing for each room. I assume that's what you mean by highlight? if you just mean you want to make it clear that there are 6 bedrooms in the house I would just make sure you have lots of pictures with descriptive captions.

Hi Alexandra. Thank you so much for your reply. I don't think that I explained myself correctly. I have been letting out the separate rooms on a b&b basis for several years but found that 2020 was totally exhausting so decided that for 2021 I would turn the complete house into a family self catering unit and wanted to highlight each room an my listing so wondered if I could import each room to amalgamate them into the whole. Hope that helps with your understanding of my problem.

I am just wondering about this. I have just out my house up live and got a booking enquiry.

The guy wants to book 6 guests but the price is only coming up for 1 room 

He would need all 3 of my rooms which would be 3x the price he is getting quoted. 

Has anyone ran into this problem? I want to allow guests to book each room. 

But also if I get a client that wants to book all 3 rooms then I want this to be available too.

@Chris13780 you have 1 listing for a single room and 1 listing for 3 rooms. It sounds like you have priced the 3 room listing wrongly. You need to correct this urgently!

You will also need two more listings for single rooms and then link each of the single room listings to the 3 room listing so that the calendars get blocked appropriately.

@Phil3061 Let me try and help......You need 1 listing for the whole house (which you have) that showcases the number of bedrooms, bathrooms etc. IF you really want to list rooms individually then you need a listing for each bedroom and then be clear what the shared spaces are and with whom they are shared. You then need to link each rooms calendar to the whole house listing so that you don't get double booked.

I say IF because I wonder if you really want to lose a whole house booking if 1 bedroom is booked by someone else. I would suspect not.

Also if you have 6 different guests in the house it is often a recipe for disaster as there is no one looking after the shared spaces.

@Phil3061 So if you only want 1 listing then there is no simple way to do it except move all the photos across and then make sure the bedrooms are properly defined with respect to their beds etc.
