I realized Air bnb charge the pet fee depending on the guest. I have 50 dollars pet fee but is it supposed to be each pet. And I realized sometimes they say it is service animal and dogs are get excited or whatever the reason damage the house. I have a small table for their cups and the chew the end of it and the legs of two kitchen chairs. 

My house is close to ocean so most guests co.ing with their pets and I don't want to miss the guests just for that. 

Please give me some insights. I am not sure why I don't have access to the info page that I was reading before. I will search for it again. May be on my laptop instead of my phone

Hi Mujde! It is definitely a balancing act when your property is near the beach. Here are three quick insights to help you protect your space without losing bookings:

• Pet Fee vs. Per Pet: Airbnb allows you to set a flat pet fee, but it applies to the entire stay, not per pet. To account for multiple animals, many hosts state in their description: "Pet fee covers 1 pet; additional pets require a small extra charge via the Resolution Centre."
• Service Animals vs. Damage: Under Airbnb policy, you cannot charge a pet fee or a deposit for legitimate service animals. However, guests are 100% responsible for any physical damage caused by their animals. Take clear photos of the chewed table and chair legs right away and file a claim through AirCover within 14 days of check-out to get reimbursed.
• Use Your Laptop: You are exactly right—the mobile app limits your view. Log in on your laptop to easily access the deep info pages, your complete AirCover dashboard, and advanced fee settings.

Airbnb have recently changed the way hosts can charge for pets so I would go to your regular calendar and click on:

==>Pricing

==>Scroll down until you see Pet fee

==>Click on pets (you'll see a pen symbol) and then you'll see the various ways you can charge - per pet, per stay etc and don't forget to press save

You need to specify the number of pets you allow but we can't charge for service dogs, they come free.
