Purchasing a listed property with reservations

We are in the process of acquiring a property from an existing Host.  the host has reservations throughout the year that occur after we take ownership.  Trying to determine if it's possible and how we can transfer the reservations that occur after we take possession to our hosting account - which we have not yet set up.

Any guidance and if this is even possible, would be appreciated.

it is not possible to transfer reservations to another account.

They must cancelled (but penalties are involved) and rebooked by the guests (if they are willing to cooperate).

If "old" host agrees you could temporary act as a co-host / primary host for the excisting reservations.

But payouts will be made to the "old" host and if something goes wrong the "old"host is responsible, so not recommended.
