Hi,  

What I would tell every Airbnb host.

A view is important to me and I appreciate it when hosts make a point of showing the views from the windows. It's more important than photographs of the nearest tourist attraction, or the street view, or a table setting.

Keep things like sheets, covers and even furniture-white or neutral.

Loud prints=yuk.

Forget accent pillows. We all know they end up on the floor, they're filthy and they rarely get washed.

Leather furniture is cold. Just drape the sofa with a beautiful neutral cover.

Make sure the pillows are of decent quality, and have protective covers against mites.

Less is better. No one likes ugly art or useless bits and bobs.

Around here we usually get tips from other hosts, but very few from guests.
