Security cameras

Hello, I have been hosting for about a year now. We have a detached garage that is heated/cooled and has a pool table, darts, and shuffleboard. We allow renters to use this game room, however, we have had some misuse it and damage our property. I know the policy on security cameras say they aren’t allowed inside the home (which we do not do). But would inside the garage be considered in that same category?

@Katie1959 I talked to an Airbnb rep last year about this same issue,

They told me that it is an extension of the home. I can place a camera outside the overhead door on the driveway, but recommended against placing a camera in the garage.

You can't have cameras anywhere in internal spaces that  guests have access to .

if they damage the property you can submit evidence and make a claim for any damages - and of course leave an honest review to help warn your fellow hosts @Katie1959
