Sourcing Earplugs

Does anyone have a go-to vendor for complimentary earplugs?

I source individual bar soap, toothbrush, shower cap and disposable razors from vacationhomeamenities.com, but they don't provide any earplugs.

Thanks!

@Brendan295 , I found individually wrapped earplugs on Amazon. I’ve had 3 or 4 guest take the complimentary earplugs (maybe to use on flight home…). When traveling, I always brings earplugs as you never know the noise level at night especially if you are staying in the heart of the city you are visiting.

If people want to use earplugs, they can surely bring their own.

Likewise, I would not expect to be provided with a toothbrush  or razor, or shower cap in self-catering accommodation. Are people incapabale of looking after themselves these days?

While I understand that sentiment, I try to provide as many inexpensive amenities as possible in order to smooth out any negative experiences the guest may have during the stay. Resentment doesn't get us anywhere in the service industry!

Personally I would never provide individually wrapped items for guests it's so bad for the environment. It's like hosts who provide bottled waters and individually wrapped toiletries - just why ??? @Brendan295

My bedroom is very quiet so no need for earplugs. If people are super sensitive they tend to bring their own.

I have an emergency kit for guests who forget toiletries, toothpaste/tooth brushes etc. - in this way guests who forget key amenities have a back up but I am not damaging the environment with single wrap items.

Resentment has nothing to do with it. I'm talking about self reliance and common sense.

Hi, @Brendan295 I was wondering if you gave a thought to Ana's suggestions or managed to find suitable vendors through an internet search. Do keep us posted if you have some recommendations for other Hosts in the meantime.

Hi All,

I ended up purchasing a bag of 100 individually wrapped earplugs from Walmart or Target or somewhere. They don't look "nice", but they will do. I like when I can source the little amenities from a provider that makes they look a bit fancy. Oh well, the search will continue when I start to run low.
