As hosts, we know how important it is to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families travelling with children.

So, here's my question to all of you: What are some of the things you do or amenities you offer to make your Airbnb listing family-friendly?

Do you have a cosy play area for kids, a well-stocked kitchen with child-friendly utensils, or perhaps a selection of board games and toys for little ones to enjoy? Maybe you have a spacious backyard where kids can run around and have fun.

Hi @Paula !

My first listing, 6 years ago, was a small flat I affectionately call my "doll house," with one bedroom and a sofa bed. I noticed that many of my bookings were from families.

Now, I co-host three larger places designed to accommodate families, and I see the same trend.

Traveling with kids can be tricky, especially when you're in a new place and trying to keep them entertained between sightseeing. I found a niche in providing that home-like comfort that families, especially those with young kids, really need while abroad.

It’s all about making sure they have a good time and feel relaxed during their stay!  🙂

I have a 6 acre estate. Amenities include 

place house for kids, swing set, gazebos, 3 ponds for row boat riding and fishing, (catch and release bass), caboose train, creek, fire pits, horse shoe, volleyball, soccer nets, hot tub, bike riding, heated pool/hot tub, 

zip line, axe or knife throwing range, outdoor movie theatre, and we’re adding more stuff for 2025

Draga Rebeca! Kako ste?

Važan nam  je i dragocjen svaki gost (i kao gost i kao čovjek) pa se stoga jako trudimo da ih razveselimo i da im bude nezaboravan boravak u našem apartmanu. Apartman sam uredila tako da je lijep i luxuzan. Puno cvijeća, vesele boje. Hladnjak uvijek bude napunjen, a ako mi dolaze djeca - - pokloni su obavezno čokolada, slatkiši, grickalice, a još kad im pokažem sobu, u čijim ormarima ima pune ladice plišanaca, i gračaka--ne znam čija je veća radost, njihova ili moja.Nekad ih dobiju i na poklon. Ima video igrica, crtanih filmova... Jako se trudimo da bude sve čisto i savršeno. Iskreno da vam kažem i meni to donosi veliku radost kad mogu ugoditi drugim ljudima.

I decorated the apartment so that it is beautiful and luxurious. Lots of flowers, cheerful colors. The refrigerator is always full, and if children come to me - - the gifts are always chocolate, sweets, snacks, and when I show them the room, in whose cupboards there are drawers full of stuffed animals and peacoats--I don't know whose joy is greater, theirs or mine .Sometimes they get them as a gift. There are video games, cartoons... We try very hard to make everything clean and perfect. To tell you the truth, it also brings me great joy when I can please other people.

High-speed WiFi

Two bean bags

One table

Two stools

One ottoman

Tea and coffee maker

Glass water bottle with two glasses

Shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and soap

Two bath towels and two hand towels

Etc..
