What's best to leave and remove from your home before a host arrives?
Hi all! I am new to hosting, and I host my own home. I wonder what things would be okay to leave in the unit and what I am best to remove.. For example, leave or replace my good china, leave or remove my decorative crystals, what to do with drawers full of things irrelevant to them, etc... Any advise?
I would remove items that are valuable to you, it is possible they get damaged. I would remove things they don’t need or will not use, this will decrease clutter which is a review question specifically for them to answer about you. It asks them about clutter so you want to limit that stuff if possible. It is ok to leave things, but know that guests will use them or even break them. Hope this helps.

@Leticia451 I would certainly remove anything money cannot replace. Also things will get damaged and Aircover will be unlikely to cover them 100% so bear this in mind in your decision making. However cheap plates/pans are more likely to be damaged so it is by no means an easy decision what to leave.
If the property allows I would add a lock to one room and store clothes etc in it.
