Your listing is sort of economy luxury. It is a big room.
Ideas
One of those butler carts set up in each room a coffee or tea choices. Luxury that a private coffee station to start my day.
A female and a male generic bathrobe. Robes take up a lot of suitcase room and a quick run in a shared space for the bathroom a big plus.
Electric scent diffuser, the one I bought came with like 6 scents so they can choose scent if they want it.
Especially women have to sit to use a shared toilet, put a package of the disposable wipes sold for when you use public bathrooms.
I always pick the brains of my guests they give the best advice.
Shared living goes really well a few tips I have gotten over the years.
Not a formal dining room but with in my room a chair, a tv tray especially like woke up want coffee and no do not want to group participate yet. lol Let me have coffee first.
Hooks in the bedroom for towel hanging if shared bathroom. People like contro0l of their towel.
If keypad locks do not use person's cell phone number to create security code. Other guests know ask for the number maybe innocently but now I know your code.
If you have guests that have Visas or Passports regularly a small safe in the room and a fireproof bag is cheap.
Put time controls on shared spaces especially if you don't live there. People will think nothing of cooking their gourmet dish at 2 am. Others don't like that haha.
@Marie8425 thank you so much for sharing these gold-standard tips โ truly appreciate your experience and practical wisdom!
I love the idea of adding small comforts like a TV tray or in-room coffee space โ so simple yet so thoughtful. That early-morning โme timeโ without social pressure is something many guests will relate to (and thank you for later!).
The towel hooks, safe/fireproof bag, and especially the note on keypad security are great reminders. We sometimes overlook how valuable these small touches can be, especially in shared-living situations. And yes โ the 2 AM gourmet cooking guests are real! ๐ Your point about time-bound shared space usage is one weโre definitely going to implement and recommend to others in our host network.
Thanks again for helping the community grow stronger with your contributions โ weโre already applying these tips across our AryaStay listings.

Keep this in mind.
Yes, right now people are a little more conscious of their spending.
That means still spending but priority of value is increased.
Customers will spend, they just want their purchasing decision respected determined by did I get my moneys worth?
You provide value with small unnecessary but great to have, sure I can wipe the toilet seat with a tissue but wipes are provided because I am valued and special.
Hi @Marie8425,
Thank you for sharing this insightโit really resonates. You're absolutely right: value doesn't always mean extravagant, it often lies in the small, thoughtful details that show we care.
In todayโs climate, guests are looking more closely at whether the experience matches the price, and as hosts, itโs our small touchesโlike providing wipes, a welcome note, or local tipsโthat quietly communicate, โYou matter.โ
Weโll continue focusing on this kind of value in all our listings and sharing these ideas with fellow hosts as well.
Grateful for your continued wisdom in the community ๐

Thank you so much, @Marie8425, for taking the time to share such thoughtful and practical suggestionsโand for your kind words about my listing! Being described as โeconomy luxuryโ is honestly the perfect compliment and exactly the balance I aim for. ๐
Your ideas are brilliantโespecially the butler cart with a coffee/tea station. I love the concept of adding comfort and convenience in a simple but meaningful way. The bathrobes, scent diffusers, and towel hooks are such considerate touches that speak to real guest needsโthings that truly make someone feel at home, even in a shared space.
Also, your advice on setting boundaries and maintaining guest privacy in shared living situations is incredibly valuable. Itโs that kind of wisdomโclearly learned through experienceโthat really helps other hosts grow.
Thank you again for your generous input. Iโve already added a few of these to my to-do list!
I have 2 actually. Unfortunately 1 of them not many people can replicate. That one is the Kangaroos I have that live on my property - about 20 or so now. They hop across the property at dawn and again at dusk and then spend the days laying around under the trees. In the summer the juveniles will often box with each other and play in the dam (ok yes I am in regional Victoria, Australia - so I do have a bit of an advantage here) - but - the upshot - more and more city based guests love local wildlife - so if you have some or can encourage some to come to your place - promote it on your listing - put some photos up . I have had really good success in helping other hosts who have farms etc with sheep, cows, alpacas, lamas etc - the photos get the guests in every time.
But on another note, my guests also love my coffee / tea station. As my favourite Airbnb YouTuber said in one of his posts one day - 1 in 3 drink decaf or tea. So I tried it. I have little canisters with 3 types of tea - English Breakfast, Peppermint and then a loose leaf lemongrass and 3 canisters for coffee - I decaf, 1 variety and 1 with hot chocolate pods. Guests love it.
@Geoff7 this is absolutely wonderful โ thank you so much for sharing!
Your kangaroo story is magical and truly highlights the beauty of showcasing local wildlife and nature in our listings. While we donโt have kangaroos here in India ๐, we are blessed with lots of trees, birds, and natural greenery, especially around our properties.
Inspired by your message, weโve decided to start actively promoting our local nature and outdoor spaces in all our listings from today. We'll also begin guiding other hosts in our network to do the same โ itโs such a smart and authentic way to enhance the guest experience.
Your tea and coffee station idea is also fantastic โ small touches like that can really elevate a stay. We truly appreciate your thoughtful tips and your contribution to this amazing community.
