Hello @Toni6778 👋
That sounds very picturesque! Do you allow guests to bring their horses when they come to stay?
Our place is a beautiful lake view of Lake Wissota which has great fishing and recreational opportunities.
Hello @Tami414 👋
Rebecca, Good Morning, yes a lot of our guest come for the summer & winter fishing. We are also near to Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire & Cadott so there are many wedding venues in our area & a wide variety of entertainment. Our upper & lower decks both have amazing views of the lake. Tami
I have a Jacuzzi as well. My apartment is in the woods with deer and owls. I am 7 miles from downtown Seattle and downtown Bellevue (tech centers) on an Island in the middle of Lake Washington. 20-25 minutes from SeaTac airport. I am pet friendly and about half my guests have pets.
Hello @Thomas661 👋
That sounds wonderful, particularly the close proximity to nature! How long do you guests usually book for? It's lovely that you allow pets too. I'm sure they adore the location as much as their humans!
Thanks. It is all over the board. I have a regular guest from Dallas who escapes the heat in August and early September. 6 weeks for 3 years now. I just had 5 guests in a row spend one night each. They all get the same $50 cleaning fee. The longer term renters get a discount. There are lots of conferences in Seattle/Bellevue. This leads to lots of rentals of 3-4 days. We also have a fairly large Jewish population, and I am within walking distance of one of the synagogues on the Island, so Jewish holidays are generally booked.
This is kind of odd. AirBNB has been by far my dominant source of bookings for 8 years. I had one vacant night from the middle of March until the end of September. In December I only have Christmas booked. For the end of September, October and November, Booking.com has been the dominant site. Any ideas?
I have a projector in my condo which gets a lot of good use. I'm trying to find out if I can install a hot tub or sauna on my balcony though!
This looks awesome @Tariq52 (and a great series too!) 🙌
Do you guests leave lovely comments about the home cinema?
HI Rebecca, mostly I get them through private chats/notes!
My listing's most unique feature is its architeture. It is a pie-shaped vacation home, with no corners in sight! Additionally, my parents built it in the 70's, so it is special to my family, and we share it with guests so that they can enjoy its uniqueness as well.
@Saundra-Lee0 - that sounds so amazing. Feel free to share some pictures with us!!
Every autumn, many tourists visit my region, Nevada County in northern California's Sierra foothills, to view the fall foliage. Guests can enjoy all the fall colors simply by looking out the front door of my guest bungalow, as my backyard provides a full display.
What beautiful autumnal colours @John921 - are these Acers?
Does your listing look as beautiful in other seasons too? I bet spring is lovely!
Yes, it's mostly a mix of acers, which we call Japanese maples, along with dogwoods. Here's a photo of the same scene in the spring.
