just checking in to see if things seem slower than normal from last year.
Good afternoon everyone ๐,
Spring cleaning is the perfect time to breathe new life into your listing and your guests' experience.
Start by decluttering, and donโt forget to dust those places you often skip, like ceiling fans and baseboards. Clean your windows to let in more sunshine, and give your appliances a deep cleanโwipe down the fridge, oven, and microwave. Freshen up your soft furnishings by washing curtains, cushions, and even rugs.
Whatโs on your ultimate spring cleaning checklist?
Share it below!
Have a great day,

Wow, @Hasnul0!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you found it helpful. ๐ Iโve found that with this system, it usually takes me about 1-2 hours to do a full clean, depending on the size of the space and if guests have stayed multiple nights. Breaking it down by area really helps keep everything efficient and less overwhelming!
Having a great cleaner is key. She goes above and beyond. Floor to ceiling. She really focuses on restrooms and bedrooms. Thatโs areas guest spend a lot of time. Never let a guest find any sort of hair in these areas. Will cost you on your review. We have a fully stocked kitchen, for guests that may want to cook there own meals.
Thank you for leaving your comment, @Dale1242!
Having the cleaning under control is such a fantastic advantage! How long have you been getting help with the cleaning? I'm curious to know how you found your cleaning assistance! ๐งฝ
My sister in law does my cleaning. But Turno is a great place to find a cleaner.
So far my husband and I do our cleaning and maintenance.
I don't have a "SPRING" cleaning thing. I routinely have scheduled on my GOOGLE calendar to change shower curtains every 3 months (or as needed if fresh ones are required:) or clean Keurig and ice maker every 2 months etc; ac filters I check every month on the natch.
I mop shared kitchen as needed and routinely take out the trash even if not full because it gets stinky from meat cartons etc. Twice a year I add oil to my antiques to help them stand out while dusting as needed throughout setting up for next guest. Google Calendar is great with color coding for marking the importance of the item.
My sheets and towels are all white so I can bleach them for sanitary results. I bleach the bathtub every week-run water and add bleach for it to sit in tub for 30 minutes or more. Clean windows as needed. Some things you just do on auto like sweeping up tracked in leaves or after each guest like vacuuming.
Thank you for leaving your organization in the Community, @Cynthia24!
I really love the tip you shared about google calendar! This is going to be so helpful for other hosts! Since you and your husband do the cleaning yourself, have you been think about asking for some help? ๐ก
My space is so manageable that I do a deep clean each turnover. The only thing I changed is the bedding. I switched from a duvet to a quilt with a blanket because it can get so warm here.
Thank you for participating. @Gretchen195! ๐ค
We pressure washed the house & sidewalks to remove insect dwellings, moss & algae growth, dirt and the like. Also, clean the gutters where plants are growing! Keeping the house clean inside & outside, improving curb appeal and making the stay more pleasant.
