How to cancel a reservation mistake from host side without mention of cancellation on his file?

Hi 

I just wanted to ask an information but the host accepter my request right away

He is finw with cancelling but 

Now, I would have 100$ fees if I try to cancel it and if the host cancel on his side, he will have a penality (message on his board) etc

Is there any ways to avoid this? I did not think that asking a question would complete the reservation right away

You are actually on the French board so I should be answering you in French, but seeing as you have posted in English I'll make an effort, in case you don't speak French and just posted your question in the wrong board...

 

Depending on how the host had set his booking settings, some listing would be booked "instantly" instead of passing by a "contact the host" step, so to speak, which is what you wre looking for if I understood you correctly. In that case, I would advise you to contact Airbnb directly and explain your situation with the maximum details you have on hand.

Merci de ces informations! J'avais effectivement annulé le réservation automatique en tant qu'hôte mais je me suis fait prendre comme voyageuse en raison de mon ignorance du système automatique 😞 

Le bouton contacter l'hôte est très bas dans la page... je ne l'avais pas vu

hi, how can I contact airbnb? I have asked to cancell a reservation from guests in less than 24 h approved, as I was mistaken. I have committed before with another guest same dates. In addition the 4 guests that confirmed were 4 boys 19 years old, which I do not trust they would respecte appartment rules in summer. They have not mentioned ages in the first mesage, I thought it was a family with 2 children as always I have had. Now the calender is blocked, I'd like to un block it but I can't

Ici c'est le forum francophone,  donc c'est un peu compliqué de vous répondre.

Par rapport à votre problème d'annulation, effectivement le mieux c'est de contacter le Centre d'Aide au 0184884000 (français ) pour l'anglophone, une simple recherche Google devrait vous permettre de trouver.( je ne le connais pas )

Mais je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir compris quelle réservation vous avez annulée et qui a bloqué votre calendrier ...
