My host got a water leakage - can I trust it will be finished?

Hello everyone ! 

I reserved a place for two occasions - the 4-8 april, and later all summer long (10 june-24 august). 
Suddenly, my host cancels the first trip because of a water leakage. I'm not sure if the damages will be repared before summer (and my host doesn't answer), but I cannot cancel the trip without paying 50%.... And I'm afraid my host will cancel the trip way too late for me to find another place.

What should I do?
