Superhosts deserve web addresses that are as unique as their homes and hospitality. And soon, all Superhosts will be able to create a custom web address—an exclusive, easy-to-remember link that will help guests find their specific listings and make it easier to brand and promote their business. That’s right, no more lengthy web addresses that include random numbers and symbols (unless you prefer them, of course).
In the next couple of months, we’ll be introducing custom links to Superhosts. Superhosts will receive an email or a dashboard notification with a link to create their personalized web addresses.
Let’s brainstorm some ideas to make your link stand out. First, here’s what the new format will look like:

This feature was designed so Superhosts can create memorable web addresses, put them on business cards and in email signatures, and promote them on social media. In the coming months, all Superhosts will get access to this feature—thank you for providing hospitality as unique as your future web address.
*Superhosts are allowed one custom URL per listing. If at some point, you’re no longer a Superhost, you will be able to keep your custom web address. If your listing becomes deactivated, the custom URL is then available for another listing to claim.

It's great to hear so many of you are wanting to personalise your URLs.
I've noticed a few questions on how to update yours, so here are some more details to help you on your way:
1. Go to “Listings” in your Airbnb App or on the Airbnb site
2. Click on the listing for which you’d like to create a custom link
3. Scroll down past the photos and location sections to “Custom Link.”
4. Click on that to create or update your link.
You can change it once you have created one, but keep in mind the previous one will no longer work (you only get one custom link per listing!).
For those of you who have clicked on your Dashboard banner link and have been taken to your listing(s), you are in the right place, just follow steps 2-4 above.
I hope this helps and let me know how you get on. I hope you creative juices are flowing, it would be really interesting to hear how you decided on your new URL name.
Thanks,
Lizzie

Thank you for the easy to follow instructions - done. May I suggest that, in future, you include step directions like this with emailed links? My email notification had no instructions other than to 'click here' to set it up. I thought I was mistakingly being rerouted to my listing page since the custom url item is lower down.
Great to hear you have updated this now, @Tambre0. Thanks so much for the feedback, it's super helpful, I will pass it over to the Superhost team. 🙂

There is no section or button that says ‘custom link’.... am I the only one having this issue? Kind of annoying....
@Lizzie- I've tried 2 different versions and neither will work. I tried airbnb.com/h/briarcreekfarm with no luck, so I inserted a dash between briarcreek and farm. Still not working and this last attempt was 2 days ago.
Hi, It's very easy.
1. Go to dashboard
2. Open your listing
3. Click on Listing Details and scroll Down (page where you can edit all items, i.e. photos, etc..)
5. There is a box starting with airbnb/h/ [name your custom listing]
6. Save it.
You have now your custom link.
Hello @Susan1404,
Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with this. I'm going to fed this back to the product team to see why this isn't being accepted. Do you get an error message or anything stating why you are unable to have that url?
Thanks,
Lizzie

@Lizzieit brings up search listings for Airbnb, but not the specific listing for my own listing. I tried it a few more times using the last choice I made which is https://airbnb.com/h/briarcreek-farm. When I copy and paste into my browser, I get listing after listing of local Airbnb listings. ETA - I tried clicking on the link when it linked in this message and it gave me the error page saying "Oops..."
Hello @Susan1404,
I've just visited the link you gave me: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/h/briarcreek-farm
I was taken to your specific listing page:
So it all looks like it's working to me! yay! 🙂
Your listing is really lovely, by the way.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Lizzie

@Lizzie- thank you so much for checking on this for me. I was wondering what browser you used to access the listing. I can only get it to work with Chrome. I've tried Microsoft Edge (formerly Yahoo), and Mozilla Firefox, both with the same results as listed in my prior posting. I can't imagine why they can't utilize the link like Chrome does.
Hey @Susan1404,
No problem at all.
I was using Chrome when I checked yesterday. I've just tried it with Safari and it worked for me.
I've asked a colleague of mine to check on Firefox (as I don't have it) and it worked for her, so I think it's all good. 🙂
If you aren't able to see this, I would perhaps try clearing your browser and cache history, for those browsers, as it might be showing out of date date information and a good refresh might get it going.
Thank you,
Lizzie

@Lizzie Thanks Lizzie - I will try that and see if it helps. You've been a big help.
Thank you, that was very helpful! Do we also have custom links for our profile?
I believe it's only your individual listings at the moment, @Joshua398. It would be great to hear after you have used this for a bit, whether you think it would make sense to have it on your profile as well.
Thank you.

I'm excited to use my custom links for listings but actually for me it would make more sense to have one for my profile. Then it's just one link that I can share for someone to look through all the listings. I hope that becomes an option in the future! Thanks! 🙂
