You’ve told us that managing reservations from home or on the go could be easier and more consistent. As we did with changes to your reservations list, we’ve listened to your feedback, studied hosts’ concerns raised with the community-support team, and run research studies to understand how we could improve your experience. Here’s a sneak peek of upcoming changes built on your input.

 

Consistent information wherever you go

Soon, whether you’re managing reservations on the Airbnb app or website, you’ll have the same set of reservation details available. What’s more, anywhere you see a reservation—in your calendar, the message thread, your dashboard, or your reservations list—you’ll be able to take action right from that screen, which means it will be faster and more efficient for you to handle each reservation.

We’re giving you more specific information about the status of each reservation. And you’ll also get more details about the guest associated with each reservation without having to click into their profile. You’ll know how long they’ve been on Airbnb, what languages they speak, and if they’re a host like you, so you can make confident booking decisions and interact with your guests efficiently and quickly, all from one screen.

 

More payment details

You’ve told us that you wanted your expected payout dates to be even more visible. Numerous hosts called our  community support team about this, so we made sure payout dates were easier to find. We’ve added a link to your transaction history and expected payout dates alongside every reservation.

 

Answers to your frequently asked questions, right where you need them

By studying the types of questions that come up most often for inquiries and reservations, we’ve been able to anticipate what answers might be most helpful to you based on the reservation you’re currently managing. We’ve added links to reservation-specific FAQs at the bottom of every reservation so you can get the information you need, when you need it.

 

More consistent tools and views

Previously, if you had Instant Book turned on for a listing, you could only hold dates when you pre-approved a guest on the website. Now you can do so in the app too. And the private notes feature, which was previously available only in the calendar, is now available anywhere you see a reservation.

 

All these improvements are coming your way in the next few months, and we hope they help make quick work of managing your reservations. Thanks to all the hosts who gave us feedback and joined focus groups. Let us know what you think of these changes and others you’d like to see.

I have just see how one  guest claim confirmed reservation even I do not have any request in myl mail box neither i have history of communication for that reservation. 

Please give me explanation how anyone could confirm reservation if it is not me?

I have a problem.with the smart tarif. I have switched it of for the high season but I keep getting booking requests for those specific months with the smart/slim tarif discount.

would be nice if on the phone app - if you can get to show both host payout and guest payout? This way it is easier to answer guests questions on how much their actual pay.

Not impressed with your new look.

 

The spacing in the message we type should be exactly the same as when that same message posts. We can avoid unsightly appearances that way. As it is now, something that looks acceptable turns out not to be, making us look amateurish as hosts.

 

You've made the message from the guest smaller and off to the side in favor of enlarging a useless graphic. It’s now more difficult to read necessary information from the guest.

 

You still haven’t given us the ability to select words or phrases (specifically guest’s names that may be difficult or unusually spelled) in a guest’s message. Instead, we can only select the entirety of the guest’s message which is pointless - no host needs to only copy the whole message in order to paste it back to the guest. The inability to select specific words or phrases so that we may include them in our response to the guest is frustrating.

 

Do better, please.

First my langage is french but your explanation are only in english. I will prefer to have these informations in french.

 

THen it is not true that you give more informations on the guests. Now I have a demand from Valentie... THe name is the only information I have. I don't know from where she or he is. I don't know the gender,  There is no picture... There is none verifications, no profiles.  How can I be secure about the guest????

I will refuse the guest and will  loss profit because airbnb does not give any informations...


As host, I pay a percentage to airbnb to do a job: verifing the member and assure the guests and the hosts that working with airbnb is safe....I think that Airbnb does not make his job 

 

The procedure you had before was much better! ...  I think that  I will go out of this multinational compagny which make billion $ of profit without giving the services. IIt is a scandal .

I am so wary of accepting a request now that I am not allowed to see who is requesting or any info about them before I accept.  It's quite scary.  Are they allowed to see my profile before they request so they know if they will feel comfortable with me?  I want to see their profile BEFORE I accept a stranger into my small home where we share so much.
