You’ve told us that managing reservations from home or on the go could be easier and more consistent. As we did with changes to your reservations list, we’ve listened to your feedback, studied hosts’ concerns raised with the community-support team, and run research studies to understand how we could improve your experience. Here’s a sneak peek of upcoming changes built on your input.
Consistent information wherever you go
Soon, whether you’re managing reservations on the Airbnb app or website, you’ll have the same set of reservation details available. What’s more, anywhere you see a reservation—in your calendar, the message thread, your dashboard, or your reservations list—you’ll be able to take action right from that screen, which means it will be faster and more efficient for you to handle each reservation.
More details about reservations and guests
We’re giving you more specific information about the status of each reservation. And you’ll also get more details about the guest associated with each reservation without having to click into their profile. You’ll know how long they’ve been on Airbnb, what languages they speak, and if they’re a host like you, so you can make confident booking decisions and interact with your guests efficiently and quickly, all from one screen.
More payment details
You’ve told us that you wanted your expected payout dates to be even more visible. Numerous hosts called our community support team about this, so we made sure payout dates were easier to find. We’ve added a link to your transaction history and expected payout dates alongside every reservation.
Answers to your frequently asked questions, right where you need them
By studying the types of questions that come up most often for inquiries and reservations, we’ve been able to anticipate what answers might be most helpful to you based on the reservation you’re currently managing. We’ve added links to reservation-specific FAQs at the bottom of every reservation so you can get the information you need, when you need it.
More consistent tools and views
Previously, if you had Instant Book turned on for a listing, you could only hold dates when you pre-approved a guest on the website. Now you can do so in the app too. And the private notes feature, which was previously available only in the calendar, is now available anywhere you see a reservation.
All these improvements are coming your way in the next few months, and we hope they help make quick work of managing your reservations. Thanks to all the hosts who gave us feedback and joined focus groups. Let us know what you think of these changes and others you’d like to see.
Totally agree with Valeria and many others ! Incredibly tedious to get the info. You have to simulate yourself being a guest at your own place.
Website is more and more confused, illogic. Missing information about guests. On what base making choices? This is MY house, I'm living here. I want to know whom I deal with. This has NOTHING to do with discrimination for gender, origin, age or whatsoever.
BRING BACK THE BLOODY CALENDAR ON THE GUEST RESERVATION PAGE.
So ridiculous to have to click around to find out what days they are staying.
VISUAL CALENDAR ON THE GUEST RESERVATION PAGE.

I recently noticed there seemed to be a booking for a date that I had not received an email about and I was unable to accept it. This made me feel that I was in the wrong when I had no notion of this booking..
it was not that bad, the way it was before.... i cannot see that anything got clearer or nicer or easier on the new layout of the website/booking site!!
I prefer to view the calendar in every message box as it was. Txs
Being able to reply to a guest directly from the message screen is a great improvement,
I agree with others that there needs to be the option to split payments between hosts and co-hosts.
As the host of a single room for Airbnb I was dissapointed when you changed the calendar style to a linear format. I understand this might be helpful for hosts with multiple units but I only have one unit . I prefer the old traditional format of the calendar as it's easier to see the whole month at a glance. You should make the calendar format optional - linear or traditional.
I miss very much the calendar next to the communication with the guests as it was before. I need to open a separate calendar to be able to see the other guests in case of questions (leave luggage, early check-in) and this is notvisible now. Can you please move back the small format of calendar next to guests? Thank you!
Sorry, not so good changes. Where you have multiple rooms - the booking request is no longer 'hot' to the specific room requested. real hassle trying to find out which room is requested. Better the way it was.
yea but need that pu;ll down tab easily found right now I cant find the @%@&&&^!&& calender
I'm missing the itinerary that I could print out.
Airbnb, please re-incude the visual calendar
The "print view" takes two pages to print, which is a waste. It could be easily reconfigured to print on one sheet of paper.
Both as a host and as a guest I like to have a print copy. As a host, because I keep a binder with every reservation, in which I make notes about our guests, and as a traveller I really need to have print copies due to the vast distances in the west where there is no internet or even phone service.
Thank you for all your GREAT service!!!

i am disappointed with the new layout and find it less efficient from the beginning. accepting a new reservation necessitates at least two extra clicks, and waiting for refreshes, and adding a message is yet another click and wait for a refresh.
managing the booking also involves extra clicks and waits, and finally the review process also involves several more unnecessary 'next' clicks and further waiting.
all in all not a positive move from a host's point of view.
the site was previously very easy and straightforward and i am sorry to see this revision.
as a host with two rooms i also still miss the old calendar view that showed both bookings together. having to constantly switch back and forth between two calendars is a constant irritation.
despite all the above, i am a fan of airbnb and enjoy hosting all my guests. and if only you could hit the reset button and go back two 'improvements' that would be wonderful!
I find the new way you display the date range of the guests stay to be hard to discerne, Please leave it as it was or adjust so the visual "length of stay" is very clear. Thank you!
