Cleaning Fees at the spot (Not through AirBnB)

I have booked an apartment in Venice and now that the reservation is confirmed, the host inform me about a tourist tax (2 euros per person and per night) and a cleaning fee (50 euros) which we will have to pay to him at the moment of the check in. I have double checked the information and I couldn't find anything about the tax or the cleaning fee. If the tax is something real, I will pay it as there is nothing to do (even when I think that they should warn on their advertise), but the cleaning fee payable at the check in and without any notice on the add seems to me like out of the rule. I'm not an expert, but I imagine that charging cleaning fee out of AirBnB is out of the rules.

  Please, somebody could help me with what shall I do.

Some Hosts receive payment out of Airbnb for the Cleaning Fee. But generally this information is explicit in the listing. Usually the Hosts do so not to raise the price of the reservation, as Airbnb charges 12% for the Cleaning Fee.

But you can contact Airbnb ans ask for directions.
