I am newone here. I’ve never had any experience hosting. So I need some good advice sharing our house. I live in a small one bedroom apartment and I’d like to receive some host in the summer? And all my stuffs in my home.  Is it safe to host someone in my home  including all my stuffs.

@Baigal0 you can protect yourself by vetting the guests carefully but no one can guarantee that it is safe. Will you be staying in the apartment too? I you are, you can choose to only host female guests but you have to disclose it. If you are away when you receive a booking you can lock all your valuable items in one place. Don't turn IB on, only allow guests with verified goverment ID and several good reviews book your place and you should be good to go. Don't forget to write down the house rules. Be friendly and helpful with guests but only to a certain extent, do not let them feel like they can do whatever they want because you are scared of a bad review or unhappy guest.

Welcome @Baigal0 🙂 Now on the bright side, hosting can be pretty fun, meeting new people is most of the time very joyful experience and the extra income doesn't hurt as well.
