30 Day Views dropping?

Why would my 30 day Views drop? One day it says 309 then the next 285. Is it some sort of glitch? I’ll even check it in the middle of the day and they will fluctuate. They were holding steady and climbing for the first few weeks and now it’s like I’m non existent. Why is this happening?

Hi Jennifer,

I never payed attention to views 😉 I only care about actual bookings.  I maybe falsely assumed it was a data point that was of no relevance. 

Is there a reason I should pay more attention or even care?

I’m new to this so I really don’t know, I’m sorry! I just noticed when I first joined I was getting several views and bookings. And now my views are dropping and I’m getting no bookings.

Hi Jennifer, I am hearing that you’re new and getting no bookings as your primary concern. I have been a guest and now am a newer host myself. It seems that guests are especially appreciative of being told they have access  to you for concerns and questions.  Also doing little things for them that are minimal expense. Makes them feel special. Receiving good reviews are important. 

I have found that adjusting my pricing to find the “sweet spot” has really helped my bookings. I hope yours will increase. I am really enjoying being a member of Airbnb and am sure you will too.

@Jennifer4111 I don't really trust the insights data but it is entirely plausible that the reviews over the last 30 days will go up or down as the review period is changing daily.

If you have just started (and in the Summer) you can expect more views due to you getting a boost in the search rankings. As Winter approaches fewer views makes a lot of sense.
