Additional pictures

Hi everybody! I have a listing of a bungalow for 2 persons in my garden and besides professional pictures of the space and the garden itself, I also have professional pictures of weddings and small retreats I offer in the same garden, that might spark an interest to the people renting the bungalow. Is it allowed / adviced to add additional pictures of these services in my listing?

Thanks!

Hi @Maaike31, Great question this is something many hosts wonder about when they offer more than just accommodation in the same space. In general, it’s best practice to keep your listing photos focused on what the guest is actually booking, which in your case is the bungalow and the areas they will directly use (including the garden space as it relates to their stay). The reason for this is to make sure guests have very clear expectations at the time of booking. If weddings or retreats happen in the same garden, you can mention them in your description as additional experiences or services available, but it’s usually better not to rely on listing photos to showcase those events. Too many service-based images can sometimes create confusion about what is included with the stay. A lot of hosts in similar situations keep their listing gallery strictly accommodation focused and then highlight events either in the description, host profile, or a separate channel when guests inquire.

Your setup sounds really special though just making sure the bungalow experience stays clear and well-defined will really help you attract the right guests.

Thank you for your answer @Lazmee0 , that makes a lot of sense! I will keep the focus on the accomodation 🙂
