Advertising my listing before it's ready

I’m just after a little help with some of the legal aspects of Air BnB and wondering if you could give us some advice. Our cottage needs a rewire to get it up to the latest requirements for health and safety. We are planing on having this work done over the summer, our question is can we market our property now, knowing that this work will be done. We are hoping to get a booking for October on wards. We work in education so this is the half term we are aiming for. Thanks

@Alistair83 you can market the property now (just block the dates before October) but it may not be the right thing to do. Airbnb gives a boost in the search rankings for new properties and you might waste this if you market now but with no availability until October.

Many landlords have clauses in the lease that make it against the T&C in your lease to sublet so this maybe a challenge @Christine3685
