I’m an Airbnb Experience Host and was asked to update my listings by April 24, 2025.
I have five active listings, but when I click the link provided, only one appears on the Elevate platform. I’ve contacted Airbnb support multiple times, but they keep saying they’re unable to get in touch with the Elevate team to resolve the issue.
Is anyone else running into the same problem? Any idea how to actually reach the Elevate team or get this sorted out?
I am also experience host with the same issue, I downloaded elevate but its very difficult to use and not all my listings showing up plus the fact that the new calendar is user unfriendly, it's so much frustrating
have you tried contacting the experiences email to see if you can resolve this situation?
yes this but still in limbo
My situation is exactly the same as yours. They sent me an email saying “update and review,” and then they deleted over 100 sample photos from my experience listing. Right now, there’s only one photo left.
On Elevate, it shows that I have no active listings. When I called Airbnb support, they even told me there were no listings under my account — even though I’ve been a host for four years.
No one has been able to resolve this issue, and I haven’t received any follow-up or progress since. Although my calendar still appears, the booking page now shows completely unrelated food content.
I’m a portrait photographer, and my experience is a photography session — not food-related at all. Some guests even messaged me to say they couldn’t complete their booking due to a system error.
Yes I have had endless problems since March adding two categories with Elevate. I am a long standing super host. Elevate has no contact details apparently according to super host support it is outsourced! I have weekly complained as a category I want to add says pending and has done for the last 5 weeks!!! I repeatedly get told there is a technical error with Elevate and the technical department is dealing with it! They are not. If anyone knows how to escalate a complaint or details of who too contact I would be delighted to know.
Hello @Katherine584
It would seem that Airbnb have stopped using the categories as a way for guests to find listings! Try it yourself, f you make a search for the Wow! category for example, you'll see listings from all over the world appear. As soon as you put in a town, you just get listings for the whole town - not just the wow facture listings!
So the fight for hosts asking to be put in the right category no longer seems to be important EXCEPT for those that are in certain categories - Beach is one of them and who discover that the distance calculated to the beach or lakeside is totally off. That remains a worry for them. Their listing is 5 minutes away but on their listing it shows 20 minutes.
There are lots of posts here of hosts complaining about Elevate and their lack of support but hopefully you're not affected by an incorrect distance to said category.
Have a great weekend
Joëlle
Well no one in Airbnb super host knows this after endless telephone calls. I live 6 minutes from a beach they as you say have put 10, in general location I put I live 6 minutes walking to the beach. I live 3 minutes from a castle the algorithm or AI rejected that. I have seen the other elevate complaints as well last week. It would be so much easier as I explained to them once again for the advisor to add the beach having seen the castle and beaches of which there are 3 around my village!!! If only there was a seminar coming up I would tell them in person!!! 😂🤣
