I have a listing with a rooftop on the building. When I have listed my apartment the rooftop was under renovation so couldn’t take a photo of it. Now the rooftop is opened I try to upload the photo but the day after the photo has been removed by the system …

For an other listing, I am just trying to reorder my photos. The Gym of the building is one of the last photos and obviously I want it to be one of the first photos. When I reorder it the day after the system put the photo back to the bottom. What is happening please ? I just want to reorder my photos and add the rooftop …

Have you tried giving Airbnb a call regarding the photo you can't upload @Reza496

@Reza496

Airbnb will sometimes not allow poor quality images to be uploaded to your listing. If you are using a phone to take photos, be sure you switch the camera format to "Most Compatible" and NOT High Efficiency. High Efficiency compresses the photos and makes them poor quality. Airbnb suggests a minimum of 1024x683pixels - 2MB or higher is preferred. They also don't allow certain text or links in the photos.

Photo Tour

If you are using the Photo Tour, Airbnb controls the order of how photos/rooms appear. They always show the Living Room "Room" first. Gym will be lower in the the order of Rooms displayed. The only way around that is to delete the photo tour and manually order your photos. However, Airbnb is using the photo tour as a algorithm data point. If you don't use it, it may impact your search rank score. How much it may impact it is unknown. I usually don't recommend Hosts delete the photo tour unless they have an amazing view, spectacular location, or very unique amenity. Having a Gym probably doesn't fall under those categories.

Hi @Reza496 😊

I’m sorry about this inconvenience.

How is the situation now? Did you try following Joan’s recommendations?

Hi there,
Thank you for your time

The photos aren’t pool quality, it’s the same device as for my 10 other listings.

1)When I initially listed one of my apartment, the rooftop was temporarily closed. It is now open, and I’ve taken new photos of it.

Each time I upload these rooftop photos, they are automatically removed the next day and my photo tour gets disorganised.

I’ve also added:
• a photo of the sofa bed unfolded (currently only shown folded),
• a dining table that has since been added.

But they are removed by the system

2) An other listing, I am only trying to reorder existing photos.

Each time I move the Gym and Sauna photos higher (moving 2 photos out of 28), the system resets them to the bottom the next day.

I would like to highlight them earlier in the listing

3) A week ago a listing was recently published and the photoshoot was not fully completed at the time, a few days ago I’ve received 1 booking so far, for February.

2 days ago:
• additional furniture has been added,
• the TV has been upgraded,
• the rooftop has been further furnished.

When I upload the updated photos, they are removed the next day and the photo tour order is reset…

That’s so frustrating, I feel like my account si possessed or the system hates me.

@Reza496

What is the size of the photos you are trying to upload and what file format are the photos?

Please post the URLs of the listings you are referring to.
