Airbnb listing

Hello, I’m located in New Jersey, but I’m looking for a property in another state or country to add to my Airbnb listings. Would it be possible to manage it effectively if I hire a co-host? Or I need to visit the property often?

Welcome to the Community Center @Nathalie-Joy0! I think that some hosts tend to make use of a co-host in order to maintain their homes. We have a dedicated "Find a Co-host" page in case you'd be interested exploring if there are any co-hosts nearby the area you are looking to start your new listing in.

In addition to the above, I also want to tag a very experienced member of our community @Joan2709 who hopefully can also share a few tips with you on this.

I hope this helps!

You don't necessarily have to visit the property often IF you have a very experienced Co-Host who can inspect the property after cleaners are done, reliable cleaners (more than one in case one is not available) and reliable handy-man to perform required maintenance. Of course I suggest you be present at the property just before it is ready to accept guests and suggest you stay a few days in the property yourself and ensure everything is ready to go.

If you plan on being remote, I would suggest using smart home devices you can control from an App on your phone like:

Smart Lock

Wi-fi Thermostat

Wifi connected cameras
