Appeal Denied

Recently we decided to stop using a property management company for a property that I own in AZ. I currently self-manage a smaller property in Wyoming and have been a Super Host since that listing went live. There was some confusion, the previous manager thought he had de-listed the property but I guess hadn’t so when my listing went live it was flagged as a duplicate. Went back to him, he corrected the issue but my appeal was still denied after I requested a call multiple times. Obviously I am going to get our property listed on VRBO asap but I can’t believe nobody will call me to figure this out. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Hi @Nikki404

Did the old listing managed by the property management have any listing issues or negative reviews?

Suggest to Contact Airbnb Support (Again, But Differently) Ask specifically for the issue to be escalated to a Trust and Safety team member, since this is about a platform policy (duplicate listings).

Prepare a concise explanation of what happened: that the former property manager mistakenly left the listing active, causing Airbnb to flag yours as a duplicate.

Include any written communication with the former manager (email or message screenshots) where they confirm their error and that the original listing has now been removed.

Keep the tone professional, firm, and focused on resolution.

Hope this helps, wishing you the best of luck! Keep us posted on how it goes.
