Hi @Morgan974,
congratulations on your first booking!
Guess do have access to the arrival guide in the app, but many don’t automatically check it.
A simple way to make things smooth is to mention it clearly in your pre-stay message.
You can write something like:
“Hi, just a quick note—your check-in details and directions are available in the Airbnb app under ‘Trips’ → ‘Show check-in instructions’. I’ve shared the key details below for your convenience.
(Then you can copy the most important parts -address, directions, check-in steps…..directly into the message.)
Also you can keep these as a quick reply messages.
Happy Hosting 🌻.
Hi @Morgan974 😊,
Thank you for asking this here, and I wish you all the best with your guest.
How long will they be staying?
I’m tagging a few hosts to see what advice they can give you: @Joelle43, @Joan2709, @Shelley159, @Christine615 and @Nandini11.
Thank you in advance, everyone!

HI @Nandini11,
This is perfect. I added your instructions for finding the check in instructions in the app to my automated pre- stay message. The automated messages are amazing.
I'll look into building some quick replies as well.
Thank you,
Morgan
@Morgan974

Feel free to ask & discuss anything and everything you would like to.
Happy Hosting 🌻.
HI @Elisa
They stay 2 nights. I got several replies that helped me to tighten up my pre stay auto message. Brilliant!
Thanks so much!
Morgan

Hi @Morgan974
You can put any information that you wish to highlight, in a pre-scheduled message that will be delivered to guests at a time of your choice. Here's how:
Create scheduled quick replies and send them to guests automatically - Airbnb Help Center
Please let us know if this doesn't answer your question!
You can do a QuickReply with the link for each listing you have or you could just create a scheduled QuickReply that summerizes thw highlights the Guest should know and just a General Statement if they look at the Arrival Guide on the platform more detailed information is available.
Hi @Morgan974, you can use the "Schedule quick reply" function from the app to send your guest message automatically, with the scheduled time that you prefer. This is by far the best function I've ever used to manage sending guest check-in instructions, etc.
Yes auto messages are set up and on for all options. The Check in automated message is slightly different from check out where check out supplies a link for instructions and check in does not. I had wondered if I had missed something. I had not as shown here with all the wonderful replies thanks so much!
Ooh - I'm still trying to figure that out. It's a bit time consuming to create one so I'm behind but I do have tips and places on the app reservation page. A good friend has an amazing place in Cape Cod. Over time he created a loose leaf folder with those notes plus instructions for how things operate. We've never had anyone ask, but we're looking into it.
We do, however, have a guest book. I'm really thrilled at how many people leave us notes about their stay. 🙂
Another thing to consider is a digital guest guide that you can provide a link to in your welcome email. We use Innkeeper but there are a ton of different ones out there. We just include a link to it in the automated message that goes out a couple of days before arrival. I’ve found that our guests are more likely to read something that doesn’t require an app.
I have a printed welcome book on the coffee table with all the house information. People seem to love it!
