Automatically unblocking Cancellations from synchronised booking.com calendar

Hi there,

 

I have synchronised my AirBnb calendar with Booking.com.  The issue I have is that when a reservation from Booking.com comes in Airbnb blocks the date correctly, however, if that reservation is then cancelled (which happens frequently) the dates remained closed on Airbnb.  I then need to unblock them manually on AirBnb even though Booking has the dates open.  Is this simply the way it is or is there an option I've overlooked?
