Hi I have a friend who needs a set up for a 3700sqft 4 bedroom 5 bath rental in Sonoma county and was wondering what to expect to pay for just the set up part. Owner has purchased everything already.

@Robin1115 what 'set up' is required. If the owner has bought everything then there should be zero set up costs.
Okay the difference being a bunch of newly purchased/boxed items sitting in the garage vs unboxed, cleaned, folded, put away, decorated etc..... "Set up"
@Robin1115 Putting a cost on unboxing, washing and “decorating” is hard. I would estimate 3 to 5 days. How much do you plan to charge an hour or a day? Perhaps $500 for a week of labor.
Is your friend the owner or is your friend the co-host? It is impossible to tell how much stuff they bought and how many items needs complicated set up. Cleaned/folded would be the cost of housekeeper in your area, putting together shelves, beds would be handyman rate in your area. Decorating- that goes back if your friend is the owner or the co host. If your friend is the owner, I can not understand how she/he is planning on outsourcing her airbnb. Unless she has very specific instructions on how she wants things set up, she either needs to do it herself or hire a designer. If your friend is a co-host, she needs to charge whatever she thinks her time is worth
