Avoiding cramming adults and balancing family bookings.
Hello, I have a suite that has 2 queen beds and 1 queen sofa pull out. How do I avoid booking requests of 6 adults for my listing? I don’t want to decline a booking however I also do not want to host 6 adults who are looking for a place just to crash and be a cheap way to do it. I recently lowered my guest count to 4, but this also restricts my listing as an option for families of 5 or 6 as it won’t show up in their search.
@Tanya678 If you have a limit of 4, you can't get a Request for 6. You will usually get an Inquiry for 4 asking if its possible to make an exception and accommodate 2+ extra guests. When that happens you have a choice of saying yes or no.
As for not getting the search benefit of allowing 6 or beyond, that is the price to be paid by our choices. I know exactly what you mean however, we list a max of 6, but constantly have to fend of people wanting to bring 8+, even 12. 🤔
