Best practice to offer variable rooms

Best practice to offer variable rooms

Hi.  I can’t seem to find the best way to offer 1,2, or 3 rooms.

I have settled on this title: “2 bed-optional 3! and 5 person-optional 7!”

I have pictures for 3 beds and the listing says 3 beds. Bed-3 clearly states that this is an optional upgrade at a higher price.

am I causing trouble for myself? Should I just increase the price for 3 beds and offer a discount when asked for fewer beds?

thanks

@Alexandre1930 yes you will cause issues for yourself. also you will not show up properly in searches.

You need 3 listings - a 1 bed, a 2 bed and a 3 bed. Then link the calendars of two of them together and make the least likely one 'request to book'

Also switch on pro tools in your account as you will need the multi-calendar to look after 3 listings easily

Hi @Alexandre1930 😊

Thank you for asking this question here!

Have you been able to read Mike's and Jane's comments? What do you think of that?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I read it and tried it. The solution seems incomplete.

on the one hand , yes I NOW have two listings that are linked.

The new problem:

in the app, if someone says “3 adults” my 2 bedroom listing appears. But when I talk to the client, they need 3 rooms for their 3 people.

Hi @Alexandre1930 😊

I'm sorry about this!

I think the best is to call Customer Support, do you need their contact details?

Hi @Elisa , I'm trying to same thing with our three bedroom listing.

I want to be able to offer one bedroom option  ( other bedrooms will not be available to use) or three bedroom option with different pricing.

I have been able to link the calendars but not having success in making pricing different. If i change one calendar pricing it changes the other as well.

Spent ages looking through help questions but still no success.

Does anyone have instructions i can follow to achieve this or is it impossible?

thanks,Judith
