Hello Team Players!
We have one established Airbnb. (Entire home w hot tub in Western NY (near Letchworth State Park, SUNY Geneseo and not far from Niagara Falls)):
airbnb.com/h/cozy-conesus-getaway
Now we want to rent our camper in North Central Florida.
We have done a lot of work on both. But I am still concerned about my description and photos. -I can edit and/or swap out some new photos for Satsuma. Our first guest gave us a bad review so we have been taking our time improving the property and the listing. I have begun asking guests for 5 โญ reviews. How else can we overcome the 2 โญ review and get more 5 star reviews for our Airbnb at our camp:

(Just republished last night).
ANY advice is very welcome.

Hi @Sophia-and--Patrick0 ๐,
Thank you so much for sharing your listing here for a critique!
How did you come up with the idea for the camper?
I'm tagging a few hosts to see what advice they can offer: @Greystone0, @Oksana127, @Tara0, @Andrea6232 and @Greg2406.
Thank you in advance, everyone!
Warm regards ๐ป,

happy to offer some comments @Elisa , thanks for including.
The silver lining to the two star review is that it really seems that the items are addressable. I recognize it isn't much consolation though. Your response to the review was very good, in my opinion. Here's some feedback:
- if you haven't already or recently, spend a night or two in the camper, in this spot that it is parked. Really give things a once over, like a guest, with fresh eyes and tackle as much as you can to account for future issues.
- if you haven't already, address each issue from the review with a permanent (or as close to), fix. Is the hot water an issue, the AC, the flickering lights?
And some thoughts on your listing.
- Photos are not great. It's a camper but you will still want to try to improve the lighting, staging, etc. There is a photo of the fire extinguisher and shoes - this is an odd combo. I would refrain from any photos with personal items, like shoes. There is a stove top pot inside the oven in another photo. Another odd combo. I don't think you need a photo of the inside of the oven in general.
- There are several photos with plastic bins in sight. Is it possible to put those bins out of the photo?
- you include a photo of some pantry food items, I would eliminate this. it is common to show coffee, tea, spices, oils though.
- are there any exterior amenities? seating, bench, grill, or a pretty view you could include?
Wishing you much success!
Yes, that is a bad first review but you can overcome, iit happens sometimes.
It says No Essentials, that is toilet paper, towels, or soap. Guests don't want to feel that need to bring the basics.
Your description focuses on other great areas your not near instead tell what is close maybe think more like 15 minute drives not an hour.
Since you have enough beds for your max number of Guests don't encourage sleeping on your couch, it will cause negative issues.
Review your pricing, it is a great area but a camper needs to price at an Economy Pricing compared to a structure rental. That doesn't have to be a negative, I had some Hawaii owners of a very old property they weren't interested in spending a lot on. They did amazing well on Airbnb for years. The key was we presented to Guests honestly didn't pretend we were some tropical paradise but truly when you vacation in Hawaii, you don't sit in the rental.
Put in your title Paradise wording is great add at Economy Price.
A young family would be a great target market Fishing and a lake a less expensive option that I can enjoy with ny younger children.
Then display like good pictures of the lake.
Also online you can purchase a nice container to easily create a fire pit situation, some folding chairs make smores with your kids.
Walk that fine line of addressing you fixed issues but don't drown out an actual great choice for the right market.
