We just bought a house! Yeay! It’s a 3 unit house, and currently live in one of the units, I created an Airbnb listing because, well, we need the extra cash to help with mortgage.
But now, I see all the stuff of the Class A Multiple Dwelling law but cant figure out if its only New York CITY or the entire STATE that is subject to this or even wether the law is truly in effect right now.
The apt has only 1 bedroom so clearly we would vacate the premises to rent it, not share it with guests. Anyone in Rochester who can shed some light on this topic?
