Help! I had a guest invade my bedroom & office on March 22nd. i have security cameras in MY PRIVATE areas because I was almos...
Good morning Jenny,
I urgently need to cancel my bank account details in France to replace it by my Bank Account details in Seychelles. I have been unable to modify myself on my Airbnb Account as it falls under EU conditions.
The reason for the change is that our business is licensed and registered in Seychelles and I am a Seychellois citizen and I already have a TIN Number in Seychelles where I pay the yearly income on the business. The Airbnb payments are made on my French Account and therefore double taxation applies.
Please note that I am also a French citizen by mariage and living in the country for more than 30 years.
I hope that you shall be able to help me with this issue and awaiting to hear from you.
Thank you,
Jane

Thank you for your reply Jenny. It has been a week since we are in contact with the Airbnb Support team in order to modify this issue. At first it was somebody by the name of Armand. After it was Mustafa who transfered our file to another member of the team. We finally obtained a reply from a Bella who works in a specialised Airbnb team. Her service deals only by email as they treat sensitive cases. Our conservation was closed and it is then that we received an email with your contact.
Please can you communicate the proper service or how to get into contact with a proper Airbnb accountant?
Thanking you.
Hello @Jane-and-Lionel0
I am not sure that @Jenny will see your message as you have not used the @ before her name so I have now tagged her so that she may see your message but not sure that she will able to do much from her end.
Have you tried contacting Customer Service either by phone or chat as this will probably means documents need to be signed I imagine and verifications. This will require someone from a specific department to deal with your problem.
Good luck
Joëlle
I would suggest you speak to the accountant. You will face double taxation often in this type of situation. Your accountant will be able to advise.
Changing your banking will not avoid you paying double taxation. If you live in France quite rightly you will be taxed on the income you generate there as well in the country where you have your listings.
Hello @Jane-and-Lionel0
Thanks to @Joelle43 for tagging me - and for the advice - which I agree is the best route here.
The Community Center isn't a formal branch of Airbnb Support, so we're not able to directly assist with these kind of issues, though we can usually step in and help move things along if you have an existing case needing more support.
Have you contacted Airbnb Support directly @Jane-and-Lionel0?
Also, worth taking a look at @Helen3's advice too regarding speaking to the accountant.
Please do let us know how you get on with contacting Support, and if you have any issues getting a response from them, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do to help.
Top tip: if you want to summon me (or anyone here on the CC) you can tag us by typing @ and then the user name eg @Jenny or @Joelle43 - and then click on the correct name from the drop down menu.
