Change a Preparation Day in Calendar

I'd like to be able to make preparation days on specific dates available to book. In the calendar, you can select the day and change to available and save but it doesn't do anything or make the day available. This would be a great feature as I don't want to remove preparation days for the entire calendar by turning it off in settings just change it on specific days.

@Chris14252 You and me both. I have been having this problem for many months now. Some posts have even reported hosts having this problem over a year ago. Airbnb obviously isn't fixing it fast enough. The only real solution is to turn off the preparation time and block dates manually as bookings come in.

Thanks Emilia, glad to know I'm not the only one that sees this would be helpful. Hopefully, they fix it but I might just have to go the hard route for now. Thanks for the response and tip.

I have the same problem. I am new to Airbnb and clicked one day preparation (not realizing what it meant) and then a guest booked  which Blocked the week before for weekly rentals. I have asked Customer Support to fix this for four days now, so I don’t think it’s going to happen. they know about this issue. you can’t override it.   The only thing I found that I could do is change my minimum stay to six days instead of seven. The problem is that people search for a full week, and my listing will not come up if it’s less than 7 days. I have taken off the preparation day for future bookings. I suggest we all keep calling Airbnb customer support to get this moved to the top of their debugging list.

I have a problem with this but even if I have set none on the preparation time it still block one additional day on other channels
