Changes in fees

The new fee setting has caused us to have less bookings. Consumer are accustom to paying fees at the end of their stay. What are your suggestions for increasing my bookings

Guests have never paid "fees" at "the end of their stay" and if you've properly adjusted for the simplified model using the provided tool, it will be largely invisible to you or the guest. Difficult to see any difference.

Perhaps there's other factors contributing to "less bookings" or maybe just a coincidence? Booking sprees come and go...

Hi @Amy3828  - you have a really cute cabin and a really wonderful collection of reviews!

Here's some thoughts on 'suggestions for increasing bookings':

- your photos look like they might not be from a professional and so when budget allows, it would be worth the effort to get some professional photos. Especially of your exterior, the outdoor lounge/sitting areas and the view.

- a new listing gets a boost in search for an initial time period and so that may also be affecting results at this moment.

- I would add captions to more of your photos.

- I would increase your description by another paragraph based on reading some of your reviews. Your guests really like the location / views / and so that can be further emphasized.

Hopefully that's some food for thought. But what a really great start and foundation you have for this listing!

@Greystone0, thank you so much for taking the time to give me suggestions every one of these honestly need to happen after reviewing  my listing. now I just need to put your recommendations in the action!
