Co Hosts & Property Management

Hi quick question to the owners out there! I currently cohost for two owners that are working towards retirement and want to be hands off with their properties. It’s been several months now and it’s gone great will full fledged booking more than they’ve seen before! The process has gotten smoother for them and the reviews have really taken a positive turn. What’s the best way to get in contact with other owners to do the same? It seems the only local group is in Dallas, but I’m in East Texas area. I’ve applied to be a community leader, but I’m looking to take on more properties.

@Hunter146 Glad to hear you are having a good run.

have you check the latest update from AirBNB. There is a bew co host features that is exactly matching your query.

you can have your own profile as a co host and get reviews.

Yes I’ve requested to join the Dallas one so far. But it’s two hours away and all of East Texas has a lot of properties with no groups. I found one Facebook group but it’s extremely small considering the amount of listings. But I’ve requesting to start an east Texas community through co-host network here on the app- crossing my fingers!

Hi @Hunter146

The new Co-host Network (formerly known as the Experienced Co-host Program) has recently launched, and I thought you might be interested!

To join and remain in this network, here are the requirements:
Co-host Network Requirements

For more guidance on how to join the network, check out this helpful resource:
How to Join the Co-host Network

If you don’t meet the requirements yet, another option is to connect with local hosts who may be looking for co-hosting support. Facebook groups for hosts in your area can be a great way to introduce yourself and offer your services.  I know you mentioned the Dallas group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/594822107807501) which is the group that you would want to be involved in.  I am an Airbnb Community Leader myself and it is unlikely they will add a group for Tyler as it is usually based on the number of listings in an area.

Hope this helps you get started on your co-hosting journey!

All the best!

Yes I’ve joined the Dallas one and an East Texas group on Facebook. Unfortunately it has less than 30 members despite this area having a large number of properties. Maybe the co-host network will become more active sooner or later. I’ve requested a community group, so I’m just crossing my fingers! Thank you.
