Dear all:
A few weeks ago, I received a message from an Airbnb Support asking me to update my hosting details. I was provided a link. When I clicked the link, I was brought to a page that was not updatable/editable. I replied back to the same message telling them that the link was not working. I know I likely need to update my ID as my current ID expired and I have a new one. They have since suspended my payouts. I was advised to contact Airbnb Support, but all of those whom I was able to talk to could not help me update my hosting account details. Until now, Airbnb has been keeping payments from booking already transpired. What should I do and who should I email to resolve my issue? I hope the community will be able to direct/help me to the right persons. Thank you.
If it is about verfication of your ID maybe try to act as mentioned in this article:
Submit an ID for verification
section: How to submit your ID
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/3033#section-heading-1
And use the link in the article to try submit ID:
Please note:
change ".com" in the URL to the local Airbnb website you are logged in, if applicable
I tried this. It automatically says I have been verified and does not allow me to upload a new ID
Have you tried uploading your new ID manually through the Personal Identification section? If that option isn’t available or the page isn’t allowing updates, it’s best to contact Customer Support and request that they escalate your case to the Trust and Safety team. They can manually reset your verification so you can upload your new valid government-issued ID.
It’s also worth mentioning that the issue may be caused by an expired or broken link this can happen if too much time has passed or if the original verification session timed out. In these cases, only Airbnb’s internal team can refresh or reissue the verification process. Be sure to explain that the link you received is no longer working so they can take action faster.
Ive done all these things. I also found through many different threads that this is an ongoing issue with Airbnb for years and they have done nothing to rectify it. Its clearly an ongoing glitch on their end. Starting to feel intentional
