I have deleted all the old pics of my listing and added new pics. Choose one to be the cover photo. It is showing up on Airbnb correctly but when I share the link, the old cover photo keeps showing up. How can this be fixed.

This issue has been reported here on the CC and I didn't know I had this problem until @Joan2709 reported on it🙏
I too have changed my cover photo recently but I only noticed the issue when I went onto private mode and saw that it's not the one I've picked in the photo tour as my hero photo.
I've made a screen shot of your listing in guest mode, so could you confirm that it's not the lounge photo that you've selected as your cover photo so that you can be added to the list of hosts experiencing this issue please?
Thank you so much for replying. This is correct. The picture that is showing up when I share the link is the old style (when we bought the place). I cannot get rid of the picture. I don't even have it saved anymore.
I talked to support who didn't help at all. Basically, said it wasn't a bug and then closed the message thread. I told them this is very misleading and we need to be able to update our pictures as needed.
Very frustrated and upset that Airbnb is treating this like no issue. It's a big issue.

When you say "when I share the link" are you using the URL link or the custom URL that Hosts can create?

Missing Amenities
One reason you are not appearing higher in search results is Airbnb says you are missining an important amenity "Essentials". Essentials are TP, soap, towels and linens. Also, you probably should have about 50 amenities. I suggest you go through the entire amenties list and check off every one you have. Then go to the Edit button and add all the details Airbnb wants as indicated by the pencil icon.
Kitchen vs Kitchenette
You actually have a kitchen (stove/oven, sink and refrigerator) - not a kitchnette. I would correct that.
Washer/Dryer
Even If you don't have a washer/dryer in the unit, does the building have washers/dryers in the building somewhere that guests use? I would add that to your amenities as access to washer/dryer is important for many guests.

I am currently using the link that Airbnb has on the share button (the URL). But being that I deleted the original picture, it shouldn't even be an option as a picture now.
I guess I will have to use a custom link but not sure how to do that.
I will go back and make the changes you suggested.

If you have deleted the photo from your listing entirely, then you are correct - it should not appear when you use the share link icon at the top of the page. This is an Airbnb coding issue and should be forwarded to engineering to correct. I'm assuming you had the listing temporarily unlisted for ahwile? You can even send a screen recording of using the share link icon and the resulting old cover photo. Attach that to your Airbnb message in the Customer Support Chat.
I did what you suggested and made my own link. I am using that now to share instead of the other.
And yes, I deleted all the old photos permanently but for some reason, the old pic is still my cover photo. i talked to support who was completely clueless. Kept telling me it wasn't a "glitch" and then acted like there wasn't a problem. Did not offer to escalate the issue at all. Then when we got off the phone, marked it as closed. It wasn't closed. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating that was.
