Default payout changed without authorization

Hey there, first time posting here as a super host of 7+ years...has anyone ever had their Airbnb account hacked to where your default payment method was changed to an unknown debit card, with an unknown name? Happened to me tonight.  All future payments were also changed to a debit card ending in "7797" abraham ortiz. Absolutely crazy! I immediately notified Airbnb Support and changed my password, and of course changed the default payout back to MY bank account.  Sad to see the loophole in Security.

I'm really sorry to read that you had this experience but it sounds like you did all the right things by letting Airbnb support know and changing your password. 

Have you also set up two-factor authentication? I've also shared this post with Airbnb for feedback. 😊
