Whistler, BC host here with a question about "delisting" for a defined period of time.
Our building will be undergoing some fairly disruptive roof replacement and pool closures for about 7 months. As a result, we have decided to rent our space to tenants using a traditional fixed term lease rather than risk poor guest experience with short term vacation rentals during the construction.
Does anyone know of any negative impacts to our host status for this type of thing?
Will we lose our newly acquired "guest favourite" badge?
We understand that Superhost designation will depend on stays/nights booked (and other criteria) during the review period.
Lastly, will our listing appear in searches and just not be bookable? Or is it out of view for the time period it's not available to book?
