Delisting for a Defined Time Period

Hi there,

Whistler, BC host here with a question about "delisting" for a defined period of time.

Our building will be undergoing some fairly disruptive roof replacement and pool closures for about 7 months. As a result, we have decided to rent our space to tenants using a traditional fixed term lease rather than risk poor guest experience with short term vacation rentals during the construction. 

Does anyone know of any negative impacts to our host status for this type of thing? 

Will we lose our newly acquired "guest favourite" badge? 

We understand that Superhost designation will depend on stays/nights booked (and other criteria) during the review period.

Lastly, will our listing appear in searches and just not be bookable? Or is it out of view for the time period it's not available to book?

@June360 Taking the last point first:

If you just block the 7 months in your calendar then the listing will be available to see but only bookable as per availability. If you snooze the listing for 7 months then it will disappear altogether.

No one knows about the guest favourite as it is awarded without publicly available rules. I guess you might lose it but get it back as soon as you get new bookings.
