Discount help

How do I set a discount for a specific number of days? I only see the option for weekly and monthly. All the info out there says you can but it’s a few years old. I haven’t hosted for 3 years. Thanks!

Hello @Michelle4778

You can set up discounts for a set number of days if you enable Airbnb's free Professional tools.  We have a second calendar called a multi calendar which allows us to add a rule set to specific dates with many options to choose from:

  1. Set different minimum stays for set periods
  2. Set specific check-in days and/or check-out days
  3. Set discounts for a set number of days other than just a weekly/monthly one.  See below:

If you go to the Host Guides here on the CC, you'll see how to enable them but any questions just pop back here.  But you're right, there have been many changes in those 3 years and it's not always easy to keep up with the changes😉

You can also set  a discount for 2,3,4,5 or 6 nights.

It is in the same screen where weekly/monthly discount is set, choose option "more discounts"

Hi Michelle478,

Airbnb removed the old “custom day count” discount a while back, so you’re not missing anything — it’s just no longer a built-in feature.

Right now Airbnb only offers:

• weekly discount (7+ nights)

• monthly discount (28+ nights)

If you want a discount for a specific number of days (like 3, 5, 10, etc.), the only way to do it is:

1. Go to your calendar

2. Highlight the dates you want

3. Manually adjust the nightly price for those days

That gives guests the exact discounted rate without relying on Airbnb’s old discount tool.

A lot of us do it this way now — especially for mid-week specials, off-season stays, or small gaps in the calendar.

You’re definitely doing it right… Airbnb just changed things since you last hosted. Welcome back! 🌟

The "Trip length discounts" (2,3,4,5 or 6 nights) still exists, at least on the Airbnb platform used in the part of the world where i live.

Thank you so much! I have not seen professional tools while trying to explore the site. How do you navigate to it? Thanks again so very much!
